Sapper Ashley Hall is a serving soldier with 20 Field Sqn 36 Royal Engineers based in Maidstone Kent. He was injured in Afghanistan in 2010.

Private Woollard, a former army cadet, signed up when he was just 16-years-old and the Afghanistan tour was his first mission overseas with the Royal Anglian Regiment's First Battallion.
He had his lower right leg blown off in the blast near Kajaki and his body was peppered with 160 pieces of shrapnel.
but he survived a trip back to England and he was treated at the Selly Oak Hospital in Birmingham.
